Preview shows the way your printed page will look. Notice at the top of the page is a button named Margins. Click this button to insert movable margins into the document. The margins can be dragged with your mouse to new locations for new margins. Plus, the change is permanent, so you can get the margins the way you want them. If you don't like them in the new location, just change them again.
