AutoAdd is used to install entire recipe Categories into the recipe database. (We can supply the recipes.) AutoAdd is also used with Export to backup your Recipe Database. Now, it is simple to move your recipes to a new machine, or send them to a friend or relative. All you need to do is use Export to export them and AutoAdd to add them to Recipe Builder. We all know how long it takes to type recipes into a recipe file. Now, with the AutoAdd and Export combination you can backup your hard work. (See Export) AutoAdd automatically reads a special directory (called AutoAdd) and will read special recipe files into the database. After you select the file and click the Submit Button, it is all automatic. AutoAdd will create the new Category if it does not exist. If the Category already exists, then AutoAdd will simply add the new recipes to it. (If the Ingredients and Directions are identical with a recipe that is already in the database, then the new recipe will not be added and AutoAdd makes a note that the recipe was a duplicate) There are 1824 recipes in the Diabetic Category, 1146 in the Crockpot Category. Now, with a simple click of the Submit button you can add hundreds to thousands of recipes to your recipe collection. Plus, with Recipe Builder you have FULL CONTROL of your recipe collection. If you do not like a recipe, delete it! If you decide you do not really like an entire Category, delete it! If you see a typo, or some other mistake in a recipe, revise it! They are your recipes, you should be able to do what you want with them!
